Take Me Out To The Ball Game, Physics

My brother is involved with numerous activities. His favorite is baseball. He is always at practice and spends his weekends at his games. He has a tournament all this weekend. He loves it! I think baseball is alright, but it is not the most exciting sport to watch. I rather watch basketball, soccer or pretty much any other sport. One thing is for certain and that is the fact that baseball puts Newton's Third Law of Motion into play. The law states that when an object exerts a force on another object, the second object exerts and equal and opposite force to the first. When the bat applies force to the ball, the ball also applies force to the bat. The bat pushes the ball to the right then the ball pushes the bat to the left. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Here is a picture of my brother, last season, when his is up at bat.
